Our vision for the men in Calvary Chapel is:
To build and restore men to their rightful place as spiritual leaders in their families, at church, and in the community. Every man will not be inhibited in anyway to become true worshippers by worshipping God in Spirit and in truth. We will connect men with men, and train up young men to become men of integrity and courage.
Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
This goes along with our mission statement for the men of Calvary Chapel:
As men of courage and integrity we strive to build, strengthen, and encourage one another through fellowship, church attendance, bible studies, hands on participation, church activities, and true worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.
We seek to actively involve men in church, community, and social activities. This enables every man an opportunity to grow in the Lord, get to know one another, and develop good Christian friendships with other men.
Such activities we have are focused men’s teaching nights, annual fishing trip, regional or national men’s camps, video and fellowship nights, and our annual father and son camp. These all develop maturity in the man and establish stronger ties with the church and within his own family.
A great resource for all men is the Apostolic Man website. Check it out at http://www.apostolicman.com
